Hydraulic construction

The holding Mostengstroy implemented one of the most complex hydraulic engineering objects – a general contract for the reconstruction of Neiva-Shaitan hydrosystem on the river Neiva in Alapayevsk district, Sverdlovsk region, with the construction of curtain grouting of the dam out of secant piles by the “diaphragm wall” technology. The works were carried out within shortest times due to the emergency condition of the facility according to the lists of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.

2. in 2008 CJSC Mostengstroy performed the following works in the sphere of hydraulic facilities:

To construct the manifold, a forward cross-section excavation was performed on the closed-works site according to the design, in which after completion of the drifting, a manifold area was constructed. The drifting operation was made under a protective screen of pipes Ø-100mm with the filling of the latter with cement-sand grout. For the drilling of the protective screen pipes and subsequent drifting, a starting pit and receiving one were made. Due to the high level of ground water on the construction site of preservation of the existing manifold and the proximity of a river feeding the ground water, the design specified the strengthening of the starting and receiving pits with soil-cement piles reinforced with I-beams, which would allow a considerable reduction in inflows to the pits.

After the reinforcement of the pit, wells Ø-100mm are drilled with a drilling machine of NKP-100 type using the protective screen pipes Ø-100mm as a drilling column. The drilling column remained in the body of the embankment and was subsequently filled with cement-sand grout. After completion of the protective screen, the starting and receiving pits, drifting works under the manifold were carried out.
