Manufacture of metal structures

CJSC “Mostengstroy” has many years of experience in off-standard erection of metal structures of industrial buildings and structures in space-limited environment of construction sites (with joint concurrent operation of several contracting agencies, under the train traffic, during operation in the environment of an operating enterprise). It is experienced in erection of structures with weights of individual elements up to 140 tons up to 60 meters long by various methods: with two cranes, by longitudinal or transverse sliding, special overhead and floating cranes.

In 2001 our enterprise as General contractor completed construction of the expanded building of the continuous steel casting department of the converter oxygen shop of MMK, having won successively the tender for the construction of deep foundations on drilled piles from the OJSC “Trust “Magnitostroy” and the erection of the metal structures of the building frame from the PJSC "Trust "Uralsteelconstruction". In the initial construction method statement it was proposed to erect a crane and roofing unit 24 meters long and weighing 105 tons by two separate elements 12 meters long each with the construction and subsequent dismantling of intermediate temporary supports. CJSC Mostengstroy proposed and erected this unit with the pre-assembly of elements for 24 meters by two cranes MKGS-100, without erecting and dismantling temporary supports.

In 2001 CJSC Mostengstroy, also as General contractor, reconstructed the railroad haul st. Yezhovka – st. Koltsevaya with a railroad overpass across the railway tracks of the station Vkhodnaya MMK (with a metal span L=45.5 meters, weighing 140 tons, steel 15HSND with high-strength bolting). The savings of the construction amounted to 30%, the construction times were shortened (actually 6 months instead of the specified 12 months), due to the use of state-of-the-art technology the erection was performed without interruptions of the train schedules or rearrangement of the railroad tracks with the pre-assembly, sliding, and subsequent erection by a special cantilever crane.
