Construction of overpasses
Within the framework of participation in federal transport system development CJSC “Mostengstroy” constructed the following objects:
- a motorway overpass 7×21m across railroad tracks of the station Luzhskaya near the sea commercial port Ust-Luga of the Gulf of Finland (constructed and put into operation in 2004-2005);
- road interchanges in Moscow and Moscow region on the Moscow Bypass Road-3 sections, the motorway Moscow-Chelyabinsk, Luzhniki overpass, the interchange in Kutuzovsky prospekt, the inner-city line of Berezhkovsky bridge. The works were carried out as part of enterprises “Mostootryad No. 18”, “Mostootryad No. 90”, «ADM-BAU-AG».
- engineering structures on landslide areas Nos. 14-18 of the gas-main pipeline Russia-Turkey (2002);
- artificial structures at the bypass of Sochi.
The most significant designs of overpasses put into operation in the recent years, in which CJSC “Mostengstroy” participated:
- construction of an overpass across railroad tracks of st. Vkhodnaya as part of a complex of artificial structures on the railroad haul st. Koltsevaya – st. Yezhovka in Magnitogorsk at OJSC Magnitogorsk Metallurgical Combine (MMK, Chelyabinsk region);
- construction of an overpass on the motorway Magnitogorsk – Airport (Chelyabinsk region);
- repair of a motorroad overpass 2×18+4×24+2×18 across railroad tracks in Novouralsk, Sverdlovsk region;
- construction of an overpass with a metal span 3×24m with calculated loads from automobiles BelAZ 540 across railroad tracks of st. Vostochnaya-Promyshlennaya in Nizhny Tagil at Nizhny Tagil Iron and Steel Works (NTMK, Sverdlovsk region). The design was implemented in complex with construction of approaches 1.5 km long and a carriageway slab 300 mm thick made of cast-in-situ reinforced concrete;
- reconstruction of an overpass across railroad tracks in Revda at Nizhneserginsk hardware metallurgical plant (NNMMZ) 21+2×24+21m with arrangement of supporting walls by the common pile out of tangent piles Ø880 mm down to 15m deep for shoring the embankment;
- reconstruction of a complex of 3 adjacent overpasses across railroad tracks of a shunting station (Yekaterinburg) 12+33+12m with complete dismounting of the central monolithic part without interrupting traffic of public and railroad transport. The works were performed within 6 months instead of 18 months specified by the design due to the use of advanced technologies and a complete overhaul of the approaches to method statements specified in the construction method statement.
Presently, in the sphere of transport construction, the holding Mostengstroy performs:
- a general contract for the reconstruction of a railroad overpass 168m long across the North channel of industrial drains at the haul st. Yezhovka –st. Koltsevaya in Magnitogorsk at OJSC MMK;
- construction of a metal span with an orthotropic carriageway slab on overpasses Nos. 5, 6 as part of the overpass of the St. Petersburg bypass road across railroad tracks at station Rzhevka.
· repair of movement joints and barrier enclosure on an overpass in ul.Luganskaya-per.Bazovy.

Parameters of the object: A motorway overpass L=372m, designed for moveable load АБ-74 (BeLAZ-548), of carrying capacity 40 tons. The design width of the overpass is 14 to 15.8m at various sections. The difference between the highest and lowest absolute height marks of the roadway of the overpass is 4.22m. Spans are of steel and reinforced concrete, split, 9 to 30m long.
